Why does the app seem to run slow?
In each section, there are images/graphics that may take a few seconds to load. If you move on to a new section before an image loads, it continues attempting to load in the background while images in the new section try to load. This can create slower performance. To help ensure better performance, it is recommended to wait until an image loads before moving to a new section.
How do I refresh the commentary/data?
You must exit and re-enter the FX360® app to refresh the information. However, you can manually refresh the Quotes section without exiting. This can be done by hitting the 'Refresh' button in the upper right-hand corner within that section.
What is the Subscribe feature? What are FX News Alerts?
The Subscribe page enables you to sign up for FX News Alerts, which provide free daily forex commentary, technical analysis reports and potential strategies via email from our team of market strategists and technical analysts.
The alerts are split into two categories: Intraday Alerts and Featured Commentary. Intraday Alerts provide analysis and key outcomes of markets movements and news announcements with a forecast for upcoming market activity; five to seven emails daily. Featured Commentary compiles top stories in financial news, recent data releases and upcoming events to look out for, detailed technical analysis and potential strategies for major currency pairs; four to five emails daily. You can choose to receive one or both.
Can I comment on articles and technical analysis reports?
Not at this time.
Why can't sections be flipped from vertical to horizontal?
This capability is not part of the app at this time. We are working towards implementing this in future releases.
In the calendar section, what do the different colors next to each event mean?
These colors indicate the level of impact a particular event may have on the currency markets. Red indicates high; yellow indicates medium; blue indicates low.
Is there a trade ideas section similar to what can be found on FX360.com?
There isn’t currently a dedicated section for this within the app. However, you can find potential strategies for major currency pairs in the Technical Analysis section
Does the FX360® app support the iPod touch®?
Not currently, but we are in the process of adding this capability. Stay tuned!
