  • ADP Employer Services gauge showed a shocking -693K contraction in employment versus estimates of -495K in job losses. The news sent the dollar tumbling against euro with the pair hitting 1.3737 in post release trade. The ADP figures confirmed the dollar bears worst nightmare nearly hitting the -700K barrier suggesting that the US labor situation has deteriorated significantly over the past month.
  • Another rambling night of trade in the currency market as the EUR/USD struggled with the 1.3000 handle after staging a reversal in North American session yesterday. Better risk appetite and the growing political woes of the Obama administration helped fuel Tuesday's rally, but the unit could not hold its gains as dour economic data and steady EURGBP sell flows kept the downward pressure.
  • The US dollar traded lower today as safe haven demand subsided. New fiscal stimulus has been announced in Australia and Japan leading US investors to hope that similar help is around the corner. The full Senate is expected to vote on the $885 billion stimulus package this week and the prospect of a swift approval is having a big impact on the currency market. Politics is overshadowing economics and in that same vein, any delays in getting the money into the hands of Americans could derail the greenback.
  • The euro staged a strong rebound in early European trade this morning rising all the way above the 1.3600 handle, but news of greater than expected job losses in Germany halted the advance at that level for the time being. The rally in the pair started in Asia as bargain hunters reemerged near the 1.3500 figure attracted to the relative value in the pair after three straight days of selling. The push higher caught the shorts by surprise and EUR/USD quickly ran through the 1.3600 barrier after triggering a slew of stops.

What is social bookmarking?

Social bookmarking refers to a method you can use to store, organize and manage bookmarks of web pages that interest you. These could be news articles, movie reviews, places you want to visit — any type of web page. The main advantage is that unlike traditional Internet bookmarks that are specific to one computer, you can use social bookmarking to add and access bookmarks from any computer with an Internet connection.

Another benefit of social bookmarking is the ability to share web pages with friends, family or anyone who has similar interests. Likewise, you can visit the pages that other social bookmarkers share with you.

All pages within our website include links to social bookmarking websites. These websites are free to use and require only a simple registration. This allows you to capture useful information you find on our website and share it with other traders like yourself. Your GFT bookmarks can become a reference if you have a question, want to revisit a concept that you found valuable or would like to tell someone about GFT.
